Grand Opening for Nizza Mosaic Studio & Gallery, a working studio, contemporary mosaic art gallery, and classroom for a number of art classes.  The reception will be on Saturday, August 6, 2011 from 6:00pm-10:00pm at 1135 E. 11th St., Houston, Texas 77009. ABC TV Extreme Makeover: Home Edition - 7-9pm central time.  Four Houston-area mosaic artists will be featured in the April 4 episode of ABC-TV Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.  The season finale, a special two-hour program, 7-9 p.m., will show the total home rebuilding for the Beach family, whose home was still unlivable 18 months after Hurricane Ike.  Featured artists include Sharon Plummer, Roxana Nizza, Michele Patrick, and Rachel Stokes.

Architectural mosaic included in the juried exhibit “Mosaic Arts International 2010” on display at the Smith Museum of Stained Glass, Chicago, IL.  Mosaico Houston artists Sharon Plummer and Roxana Nizza led the team of 6 artists who designed and fabricated the 10.5 ft x 11 ft mosaic mural.
